A Great Legacy

A Great Legacy

In the last two days, I had the opportunity to read and hear many stories about different amazing people with extraordinary qualities and outstanding lessons.  They are important  part of our legacy: I refer to the Nine Little Rock students, Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton and Heifer International advocators. A lot of blood and sacrifices were needed to have the privileges  for equal rights  and opportunities that we have today. I would like to be like these mentioned people: brave, brilliant, thoughtful, perseverant,, committed and much more. I can not  change the world but, I can make a signifcant difference. Sharing and caring others in poverty is a true love lesson of humility. What great examples of building not only for the present but also for the future!

  1. You are right, Lis! Those are great role models, and yes, we can also make a difference in someone's lives.
As teachers, we have that opportunity every single day in our classrooms. Thank you, Lis! Believe me! You are touching people's lives!
